In view of heated debate about whether debate over the introduction of heavier and longer trucks on Europe's roads, ERF has launched a position paper raising concerns about implications such a move may have unless the road infrastructure is properly adapted.  More specifically, the ERF believes that the road barriers placed on Europe's roads do not often correspond to the needs of modern day traffic and thus, is urging policymakers to ensure that passive safety elements on our roads are in line with the weigths and dimensions of Heavy Good Vehicles circulating on our roads.
